Sounds like you want outsourced operations more than "cloud" services. Lots
of companies do that, including IBM, Acxiom, and others. In the interest of
disclosure: My employer uses Acxiom for some services, including managing
our iSeries.

If you want to ditch your hardware and just buy capacity on a provider's
system, then your closer to a "cloud" provider, although the availability of
that kind of service predates the use of the cloud term. Just watch your
expectation; a true cloud service is resilient and offers seamless
application & data access across multiple servers & data centers. Think
Google & Amazon services for examples. That kind of availability &
scalability are things that differentiates cloud offerings from run of the
mill hosting.

Does anyone know of a hosting service for IBM i in the cloud?

I'm looking for permanent development and testing environments that
allow us to move our hardware infrastructure off-premises and have it
professionally managed by folks who specialize in hardware management
issues.

We do this already for z with IBM, and for Linux and Windows, on a
variety of other services, but I can't seem to find an i instance.

Any help?
