Call up your BP and have him order you the WDCS V7 disks. Then install it,
update it to 7.0.0.8 and you are on your way.

PDM vs WDSc

How do I get started using the GUI tool?
I did some research, but not sure if it was outdated or not.

It does not appear that GUI product is installed on my PC.

I certainly do not have a monster PC, but was able to develop in VB.NET.
So
I think I can use the GUI tool also.
