Years ago I had a system with no 5250 based applications. I was
discovering that users would accidentally connect to that machine and get
a session. I too tried QAUTOVRT - what a sick joke! I ended up renaming
the command CRTDEVDSP to CRTDEVDSPX and that solved it. However I ran
into a problem. Everyone knows what an unreliable piece of excrement a
twinax console is, right? Well, as one could expect, ours died. Boss
replaced it with a different model. Under the covers the system did a
DLTDEVD to get rid of the old model, but couldn't do a CRTDEVDSP for the
new model and I ended up having to use RUNRMTCMD to rename the command
CRTDEVDSPX back. Boss told me not to rename the command again.

Try a command exit point program on DLTDEVD to not allow anyone to delete
your printer device, including the OS. Have it do a RTVJOBA and if the
user is not JERRY signed on to the system console then abort the DLTDEVD.
