I don't know if this is common at all conferences, but one cost saving
feature of OSCON, that they promoted on their website through a forum when I
went a few years back, was a way for people to hook up and share a room with
others to save on expenses.

I think I ended up having 6 guys all in the same room and my nightly rate
ended up being about $20. It was definitely a good way to bond :-) I still
remember making sure to check my toothpaste tube to make sure it hadn't been
"hi-jacked" by another room mate :-) Oh memories. I woke up every morning
with my kidneys so I consider it a success!

Anyways, if a EDiT person (male) is looking to save on expenses, then I can
sleep on the floor and we can share a room. Email me at
aaronbartell@xxxxxxxxxx Note you would also be sharing a room with my sales
guy, Jeff.

Thanks for doing this SiD team! It is a good thing.

If any of you out there know of an unemployed RPGer who could use some

System i Developer has been running conferences for 4 years now and we
have been informally trying to help developers who needed a break. We
have now decided to formalize the program and try to help out as many
people as we can. Go to the URL below for the full details.

Please feel free to pass on this URL to anyone who might be able to
