That would be much easier and economical if the software was licensed by processor group, rather than processor or LPAR. I'd love to spin off an LPAR to test software on but in a (currently) one person shop, just keeping up on a single lease payment on a single IBM i LPAR is a challenge.

You don't have Dev/Test environments?

We have three - V5R3 (Test only), V5R4 (Current product), V6R1 (next
product), V7R1 (technical testing).

And i work for a 35 people shop.
