I was not referring to X-Analysis specifically ... I was referring to code analysis tools IN GENERAL.

I'm sure X-Analysis can provide useful information about applications ... but it can only be a tool and that the ONLY way to truly understand code is to analyze it with your eyeballs and brain.

I've tried similar tools in the past and found (at least for me) that they are most useful once you have a general understanding of the application.
