I was thinking that he needed to change the console for the partitions
and was not able to from SST on the primary. Once the Console type is
set, via 65+21 remote partition front panel, he could then pop the
partition console to DST and attempt to connect. I believe you have to
set the authority on the primary partition in DST to be able to change
the console on the hosted partitions. But I have been known to be stuck
in the 80's or outer space.

He needs to get into the Secondary partitions, going into DST on
the
primary will not allow him to change any DST device in the secondary
partition. He could change the partition attributes, but nothing inside
of
the partition.
