is TAP01 your media library or the actual drive?
When you want to move or eject tapes, try the "cartridge" commands.
Add Tape Cartridge - ADDTAPCTG
Change " " - CHGTAPCTG
Display " " - DSPTAPCTG
Remove " " - RMVTAPCTG
WRK w/" " - WRKTAPCTG

I had some neat clps for managing all this on a media library with only the one io slot, but the system was taken over in a merger, and I lost access.
