Compleo is a product I used at a previous job. I believe they will convert spool files from multiple platforms.

Mike, Please share with us who provides your $13000 solution. Inquiring
minds want to know!
You are kinda vague as to who your 'recommended package is almost
$13000' in that you do not identify who provides that solution.

At the risk of being redundant I will risk sharing with you that
Create!form can do it if the Windows spool files are plain text. If the
Windows application is not generating PCL output, that wouldn't work.
CformServer6 resides on a Windows server. IBM i sends spool files via
TCP/IP to the CformServer printer queues. The Windows application would
also send spool files to the CformServer printer queues. I got this
information from Create!form expert Karen Swaeby.

single application that can take both i5 spool files and Windows spool
files and merge them with a form definition to produce nice looking
output?
