You have to do the RSTUSRPRF *ALL to get the profiles & authorization list
restored, and the security information is stored for use by the RSTAUT
command. The problem was that I had to do the RSTAUT command before
upgrading the system to the release you are going on. If you do the upgrade
before doing the RSTAUT command, then the RSTAUT command had a problem.

Pete, if the RSTAUT portion would not work then would it be worthwhile to do
the rstusrprf.

The RSTUSRPRF will work fine, but if I remember correctly from doing this,

think there was a problem with the RSTAUT if you did this after you

Good morning,

Is it possible and/or advisable to save security data from a v5r2 box
and restore to v6r1? If this is possible, what are the potential
gotchas? We have a client doing a box swap from an old 825 running v5r2
onto a new 8203-E4A running v6r1.
