You seem to be laboring under the false assumption that you can't run
PASE software from Qshell. You're wrong. If you have a PASE binary in
the QShell path, you can run it from QShell. It works just fine.

Please bear with me for just two more paragraphs.

Scott, THAT was the basis of my complaint. If it's wrong, then I'm severely
out of turn here, and I apologize for that. I currently don't have a system
with which I can test this, and my responses were in the belief that PASE
had its own capabilities not shared by QSH. There was a time, a couple of
years ago on a V5R2 system, that I had installed zip (why it's my example),
and as I recall it wouldn't work in QSH for one reason or another. It
worked fine under QP2SHELL and QP2TERM. My (albeit misguided) efforts were
to prevent such issues for others. Again, my apologies.

I do take exception to your statement though that implies that I don't
contribute to this community. Certainly you contribute more, and I am
constantly in awe of that. But to put anyone down who is trying to help the
community even in a small way - that's simply not fair!
