Is there a safe method to delete all of these SAVFs that won't cause
any issues? I'm guessing it's not as simple as just going in with
Navigator, selecting all of the files and deleting them, is it? I
would really like to reclaim some of this space that these files are
using.

The system does not have any function that requires save files that I'm
aware of. However, the application in question may have its own
requirement.
