Think of it this way. I have my AR code master file. Primary unique key
= ARCODE 5 A. Now in my ARTRANS file I have the ARCODE. Can I delete an
record from ARCODE when I have active transactions that reference it? Same
for Order Header / Detail type references. I am sure you and other have
tons of other relationships like this.

In fact the AR code master may have GL Codes that point to the GL Code
Master.
