That slipped by me as well, I didn't realize that the name of the web
interface had changed.

We have it running, but so far I am only using it for DCM and limited
HTTP server management. It does appear to have most of the functions of
the System I Navigator.

If you have previously used the Admin instance of the HTTP server it
should be enabled by default. If you have not try STRTCPSVR
SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN) You should see several ADMIN jobs in the
QHTTPSVR subsystem plus ADMIN2, ADMIN3 and ADMIN4 (V6R1) There are some
Java and other prereqs so it might not work right off the bat.

After it's all running as Kirk wrote, you can access the interface at
either http://systemname:2001 or
https://systemname:2005/ibm/console/logon.jsp

Yes that is the one

It
will manage your i in many respects. IBM feels that this is a
strategic product and will be very significant in managing your i's.

Currently it goes down like a w<expletive for someone who sells
"favors"
for a living deleted> on a troop ship. And many of the functions
aren't working yet, especially those variations for the i.

However, if you have the tenacity to work through this and keep in
communication with IBM I am sure they would love additional users,
feedback, etc.

We do not use blades.

Rob... This product certainly does run on the IBM i... You are
confusing IBM i Systems Director Navigator for i5/OS with IBM Systems
Director.
The keyword is "Navigator". Jack I think is referring to the new
web
interface when you goto http://systemname:2001 when running 6.1 that
give you a lot of the functions of iNav in iSeries Access.

More Coffee would prevented this error :)
