We don't use strpco.

strpco is useful if you're doing simple command line calling and you're
using CA/400.

Our customers need to do more sophisticated tasks such as automating
mail merges, print PDFs and call and monitor processes running on the PC
until they complete so they use our iSeries Office Integrator
technology.

We have several extensions to green screen apps that use this method.
One displays an employee's picture from the employee master.
One displays an AutoCad map of the customer's service from the customer
master (we are a water utility).
One displays a .pdf of a water bill from billing history.
We think it is a useful way of extending the green screen.

HTH,
Lance

In general are strpco and strpccmd used much in day to day operations?

Anyone use them?

Jerry
