How about adding an address, then logging in using the new address to
delete the old address.

Subject: Changing AS/400 IP address

I need to change the address of an AS/400 but the only access I have is
via TCP/IP (telnet)

Is is possible to change the address (including the next hop) while I am
logged on and then IPL or does the new address go into effect
immediately?

Thanks,

Albert
