But you cannot move it from one server to another. I need to move from
a windows 2003 server share accessed via QNTC to a NAS server share that
I have an empty IFS directory mounted over. Both are accessed via the
IFS. Have you used the API to move between servers?

I don't think it is at all related to the Qp0lRenameKeep api. And the
restrictions on the latter suggest to me that it does not behave as
you and I both hoped - like Unix. The usage notes have lots of
comments about only the file name itself can be different, not the
underlying path. It'd be cool if it did work differently.

I use that API to move files from one directory to another every day. I
have never tried it with QNTC.
