For instance I have a 16 byte character field with binary data and I
want to turn it into a 32 byte character field that is the hex
representation of the field. Have any of you written such a beast? I
suppose I could create a 256 byte array with the values "00" to "FF" and
convert each character field to a binary field. Is there an API that
can make my job easier?
