The other system was current as of August?

Then I want to go to a general point. Folks, if you are running 540 then
get yourself to 545 and reapply cumes, groups, etc. If this person would
have taken the time in August to slip install 545 LIC he would be much
better off.

Doing this will put yourself in a better position to upgrade to new
hardware.

I've ran 545 on a 270.

To see how to install 545 on a 540 system see "Replacing Licensed Internal
Code and i5/OS of the same version and release" at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rzahc/upgradesameversion.htm

Actually I recommend you get to 6.1 or higher but some of you are putting
off ANZOBJCVN and working things out with your vendors for as many years
as you can.
