Well, let's see...they wouldn't tell how the companies comprising the
council voted...and the council consists of M$, IBM, et al....

$10k is walking around money to Ellison...

SO, I guess we'll have to see when the pudding comes out...and my guess is
this war if far from over... :)

I will tell you that there are IBM'ers looking at the potential impact that
a completed and successful merger of Oracle and Sun would have on both IBM,
M$ and HP and privately they're VERY concerned.

This is a great thing for us in iSeries land...because it means that IBM
will eventually have to get serious about the iSeries market as it may be
the only thing they have left in a few years.
