You mean an Aventail SSL VPN?

Your best bet would be to deploy an IPsec site to site VPN. This will
allow any form of printing, as long as the firewall allows it.

If this is no option, use Client Access to have the "printer" connect
to the IBM i. This should work with Aventail, without the need for a
site to site VPN.
