What does "investing in the future of the platform and ... RPG"
mean in terms of staffing in Toronto Labs and features for the
next release? Is the work that Toronto Labs had been doing now
being done in India? ( better than nothing )

IBM should either open source IBM i or sell it to another company.

Holy Cow, Steve! Re-read what I wrote. I didn't say IBM transferred
everyone out of the Toronto Lab. I just said that a goodly number of
iSeries people were moved to other projects. A lot of good people were
still left working on iSeries development. And many of them are still
there doing good things.
