Ok, so I read an IBM data sheet, which says it comes with 2 HMC ports. This
is just like my current 520, which requires the HMC to manage the
partitions.
So, assuming it comes with v6.1 (the data sheet doesn't say anything other
than IBM I OS), how are partitions managed, unless by an HMC? If so, is the
HMC a separate box?

So, Don, get as much info as you can, please?
