It's a baby 520 with a single power supply, and it was physically relocated. It was offline for a little over a month. And as an update, the IPL completed succesfully and the machine is fully operational. Just a little startup drama :)

That src code is when you lose power. Do you have multiple power supplies
and only have one plugged in or is one bad?

Subject: SRC Code 110000AC After long time without power

I have a model 520 that's been powered off for a month or so. I powered it back up and it went through a five minute service processor IPL, ending at C1002000 and then briefly showing the standard IPL information on the front panel. The yellow alert light was also on, although this box has a history of having that light on.

Within a minute, though, the IPL display went away and SRC code 110000AC appeared, and the green power light was blinking. I Googled 110000AC and didn't get much info, so I decided to just go for it. I pushed the power on button, and it then started cycling through what look to be normal IPL sequences.

Next, it hung at C700 4091 for a while, then several minutes later redisplayed the IPL information. I hit the power button again and the front panel display went away for another minute or two and then finally the IPL status displayed showed up on my attached twinax console (yeah, yeah, I know, but it works <grin>). So far, the IPL is proceeding just fine.

I just though I'd share this with anyone else who might run into the problem.

Joe
