Brad,

Isn't the latest service pack for 7.3.4 SP2, with a required PTF? I
believe that is what we are installing on all our customer's HMCs. Perhaps
you need to get that, as I do remember the E355 on a few machines in the
past.

Subject: HMC LIC error.....

All,

I am new to this forum, so kindly direct me to the correct list if this one
is inappropriate for my question.

I have recently rebuilt a 7310-C04 HMC. Its got all the right hardware, and
7.3.4 with all the latest fixes (SP1). Each time I log off the interface or
recycle the machine, service focal point receives the following:

E3550046

Explanation
Licensed Internal Code failure on the Hardware Management Console (HMC).
Response
An uncaught exception has been caught by the thread group. This should never
occur, so an error log is taken to determine which code failed to handle the
exception. The secondary data block with id "81" should be analyzed to
determine the code that really is in error.

Can't call second level, this is just a "test box" with no SWMA. That being
said, if you have dealt with this before and have relevant information to
share, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Brad
