I'm trying RCLSPLSTG right now. But, I think this has something to do with the number of jobs on the system. Not storage. Their disk usage is not an issue. I guess I may have to IPL to compress and possibly repair the job table before this will go away.

IMO, pretty poor design.

I have a client with a V5R4 box. He's getting CPI1468 System Job Tables
Nearing Capacity. I've deleted just about every spooled file on the system.
There are very few queued jobs. I IPLd the box yesterday after changing the
QMAXJOB system value. This did not help. Also, the CPI1468 message shows the
QMAXJOB as the older value. Here's what DSPJOBTBL shows me.


I did change the IPL Attributes to compress the job tables on the next IPL,
but I haven't rebooted the box again yet.

Any ideas?
