Still DB2 and still RPG code although they are moving move into Websphere with version 9. They do use some PASE for installation and a lot of SQL scripts but I don't think they do much at run time.

Does Lawson still use DB2 or did they go nuts and run it all on some funky
database in PASE or some such thing? If they've gone totally for PASE
then does running it underneath i buy you anything? If not, then go with
an AIX partition on your Power 6+ platform (or see if they support Linux).

Don't just stick a toe in the water to support Linux or AIX. If you go
that route - especially for a business critical application, then I
suggest total immersion into education.
