I am not sure just what the difference would be. I occasionally have to maintain a customers application and they have no outside access to their IBM i. They give me a remote desktop IP address and login and I just run System i Access from there.

Since a terminal server just delivers a desktop to a user, why would there be additional considerations?

Maybe I am missing the point...
