Currently, it makes very little sense to do so.

What we do at most our customers is to purchase a cheap, dual drive
capable tape library. For example, the TS3100 with two HH-LTO4 drives.
You can use LTO3 media in those, since most smaller systems are
incapable of matching an LTO4 drive in terms of speed.

Make sure to purchase the library through the System x channel. It has
the same part#, but it costs half as much.
