What I call the "Application Cert" is any certificate assigned to an
application on a server such as SSL for Web servers. Don't know if
anyone else calls them that. I know there are CA Certs, User Certs, and
SSL Certs. What if the cert if for some home grown application used to
encrypt data. Not a SSL cert but an application cert.
Again that's what I call them, not necessarily anyone in their left
mind. ;-)

Yes, I have tried that same thing without success. This certificate
seems to be a little weird. By "application cert" I am guessing you
mean the process of assigning an existing certificate to an SSL
Application in DCM right? Is there such a thing as an "application
certificate" (asking out of ignorance)?
