The only person I can think of who has done that (or something close)
is Brad Stone (www.bvstools.com). I _think_ he started off as
shareware and then moved to "cheapware" (for want of a better term)
which is what he does not.
FWIW - I don't see how shareware can work in as small a market place
as ours. It works (to some extent) in the PC and even the Mac
marketplace but there the potential volumes are huge.
I'd be looking to either use a model such as Brads where support etc.
is part of the package, or look to a company such as Linoma, Pro-Data,
or one of the other ISVs who handle programmer's utilities.
