× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Please bear in mind that TLDs which are not currently in use may come
into use in the future.

There are four TLDs that are reserved for testing, documentation, and
private use:

.test
.example
.invalid
.localhost

Note that .localhost is intended strictly the loopback addresses
(127.x.x.x.) and should not be considered a replacement for .local.

For the purposes of internal DNS intended to not use a true domain,
the best choice is .invalid.

See RFC2606/BCP32 (Best Current Practices) at:
http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/bcp/bcp32.txt

Personally, I prefer use the actual domain name for internal
assignments as well as external. That's what I do at home, and that's
what we do where I work (though I had nothing to do with the latter).
