Todays strange question...What causes "Previous ending abnormal, reason code 1"

On our new system the weekly IPL has been claiming to have an abnormal end
without leaving alot of trace information.
The only difference from our old system is that we have a PDF output queue
used by Infoprint services that appears to have hollered upon ending along
with all those service watch jobs that send messages upon being ended. As
far as we know we are up to date on fixes for V5R4.

Anyone else experience this problem and fix it? In all the years with our
old box at v5r1 I do not think we ever had the problem once. Clean shutdowns
and IPLs would be nice to have!
