AW: Using CONNECt in an SQL Procedure.

Hi,

you don't need EXEC SQL when writing an SQL stored procedure. EXEC SQL is
only necessary when writing embedded SQL within RPG or Cobol or any other
HLL language.
Just remove EXEC SQL and try it again.
