Normally I don't save them either. I also use FTP and keep them all on an
extra USB hard drive velcroed to my thinkpad. However when doing a Side by
Side it's really hard to FTP into the box when TCP/IP ain't yet running!!

And further testing per Roger's email shows exactly as advertised. When
LODIMGCLG is used the bit is flippe to ALWSAV(*NO) and as soon as
LOGIMGCLG OPTION(*UNLOAD) is performed the bits all flip back to
ALWSAV(*YES).

Thus those of you with full saves should have the images on tape.

So at least *I* learned something today. I can go home now. :-) Darn
documentation, always presenting facts.......
