This has turned out to include references to some of our products. It is also a little disorganized, as I'm writing it quickly and don't have much information about what the problem really is.

Are you using Host Print Transform? Image Print Transform is a different thing, and is supposed to change PS, PCL, and PDF data to AFP at runtime. (Am reading this from an article in ITJungle) Host Print Transform is not the thing to use - as far as I know. That is going to prepare a data stream that the printer understands - if you pick a model like the Epson, it might give you PCL or it might give you who know what.

You can also get more information, if you have a writer for the printer, by doing a WRKJOB on the name of the writer (device or remote OUTQ name). The job log of one of these jobs will say what is happening.

IF you can get the PDF into a *USERASCII spooled file (one of our products can do that) and IF you have a *LAN printer that understands PDF, you can do this. We have a product that can handle this kind of thing - but if there is some native way, go for it.

If you are creating PDF using Infoprint Server, their location is not easy to get to - that is why we have our InfoPrint Integrator product - to help with all this.

Did not mean for this to be a commercial, so take what helps you.

I've tried to do a printer emulation connected to a PDF virtual printer, but only appears one page in blank.
I have selected "Transform print datato ASCII on iSeries" and the model of printer "*EPSQ870".
If the "Transform print datato ASCII on iSeries" is unselected, nothing do the printer.
