It may be helpful to download a copy of FireFox to use for comparison if
nothing else. I've seen many issues with IE 7 that are not problems in
FireFox, which attempts to follow W3C standards. That's not to say there
aren't problems with FireFox also, but I believe many of those to be
caused by inappropriate attempts to work around bugs in IE and reliance
on non-compliant features and APIs. I think MS is promising that IE 8
will be standards-compliant.
