Hi Rob,
Two problems with your suggestion:
a) My PC at home has a 4 megabit internet connection, whereas my i at
work has a 1.5 megabit. This is what I attribute the speed difference to.
b) I'm not using IBM's FTP, I'm using FTPAPI.
Therefore, I find it unlikely that my speed tests will matter to anyone
but me. I doubt IBM will fix the problem if it means upgrading my
internet service and possibly optimizing software that I wrote.
