Be careful. A POWER 550 implies it is a Power6 box, but an older 550 which
could be a Power5 box, could run on V5R3M5. He never said it was POWER,
only 550. So, we have no idea.

There are no such direct restrictions on current hardware, like it was
earlier when you had primary partitions. A POWER 550 won't run V5R3
though, so the discussion is moot anyway.
