Hi all

I am having a school boy error type of day. Someone has sent me a tape to restore. Both our systems are at V5R1. But if I run the basic

RSTLIB SAVLIB(FARN) DEV(tap02)

it comes back with an error:

Message ID . . . . . . : CPF3717 Date sent . . . . . . : 02/13/09 Time sent . . . . . . : 14:39:16 Message . . . . : File not selected. File label or file name mismatch for file S44G5353-FARN.

If I run a DSPTAP *SAVRST it shows this:

5722SS1 V5R1M0 010525 Saved Object Information - Tape Library . . . . . . : FARN Release level . . . : V4R5M ASP . . . . . . . . : 1 File sequence . . . : 1 Volume ID . . . . . : TAP001 Data compressed . . : No Expiration date . . : *PERM Data compacted . . . : Yes Save command . . . . : SAVLIB Objects saved . . . : 30 Save active . . . . : *NO Access paths . . . . : 0 File label ID . . . : S659675A-PMGM Save format . . . . : Serial Save date/time . . . : 05/25/08 07:07:46 Object Type Attribute Owner Size (K) Data Memb FARN *LIB PROD PLATINUM 88 Yes QESTELE *DTAARA QSECOFR 4 Yes

Can anyone help me? Is it saying that even though the machine it was saved on is at V5R1 it has saved it a V4R5, is the cause of the problem?
Its not a problem to reinstall our dev box at V4R5 if this will fix the issue.

Or is it something else that i am just not seeing?

Thanks in advance.
