My tapes have not filled up since I've been on LTO3, but on the old LTO1
tapes, I had to add CLEAR(*AFTER) to all my save operations (SAVLIB,
SAVDLO, SAV, etc) to get it to roll to the next tape properly. I don't
remember exactly what was happing, but it might be the same thing you are
getting.

I have a TS3100 (aka 3573 L2U) tape drive. I have it configured in
Sequential mode.
I loaded one tape into the drive and then a tape into slots 1, 2 and 3 of
magazine 1.
However when tape 1 fills up instead of automatically loading tape 2 I get

a message in QSYSOPR to load the next tape.

On the old 3581 there was a Start Sequence option. I don't see that here.
