Small world!! With Linux NFS shares mounted on the ISeries will it allow
me to load tape catalogues from it? We had some trouble trying to set
this up a few days ago.

Thanks again!

Mike

Hi all,

We have a debian box here we intend to use as a cheap ATA SAN and are
wondering what options we have available for using this for DASD on
our
ISeries.

Any suggestions?

Hi Mike

You can mount Linux NFS shares on the iSeries, though I don't believe
it can be used to give extra space to /QSYS.LIB/ - you'll be limited
to providing more directory/stream file storage space.
