My only issue with keeping them running has been when the ID they run under
expires every few months.

I haven't used any iNav monitors in > a year. Mostly just played around
with them to see how to set them up and how they worked after attending a
COMMON session. So I can't say that I really had them running for very
long before I stopped them.

Do you have luck with those monitors staying running?

You can, also, define a monitor in the Management Central portion of iNav.

Somewhere within the system you can set up a limit or threshold to where
it will start notifying you (send QSYSOPR messages) whenever it reaches
this limit.

I am having a brain freeze on remembering how to do this.

You can set this limit, then if you use messaging software like Robot
Console or Bytware, you can send alerts (emails and/or text pages) when
you reach this threshold.

If you haven't already discussed this, what was the % Util prior to the
bump?

You need to look at your libraries, spool files, etc. to figure out what
increased. A good ol' periodic RTVDSKINF will help determine what
increased.

You can IPL the system which will reclaim storage & clean up a lot of
system files, replaced objects, etc.

If this doesn't drop it down enough, then look at the newly created
objects.

Thanks.
