Not that SQL is a bad thing, but who says that all LF's have to select all
fields? Just omit the CLOB field on most LF's.
Not only that but many moons ago IBM added the capability to select just
certain fields on update statements with the %fields bif. Too bad that
isn't on READ or WRITE. READ would be nice to bypass CLOB and to also not
read certain fields in case auditing is developed down to the field level.
Write would be nice to allow the default values to be generated.
