Interesting - I just did a wrklnk, then put a 5 on a directory - as usual, it lists the contents. A 2 on a directory gives you the results of EDTF on the directory. But DSPF on a directory brings you to the EDTF screen - that's not the same as the 5 option and seems it should not have the delete and recursive delete options - however, I do think these were kind of a quick and dirty. They don't quite behave like any other interfaces. E.g., if you put some options on items on a page, then page down or up, the options are executed, not just preserved until you press Enter.
