All users, or just one particular user (or a select few)?

We had something like this once. Laying off the person did the trick.
(No, that's really not why we laid him off, but I did get to close that
pmr afterwards.)

iSeries Access has an "Check Service Level" program. The problem is that
it has many flaws. One is that it really prefers that you have Windows
Domain admin authority. In 6.1 they redid this. Obviously, you aren't
there. The cure for you may be
- Sign on as a user with Windows Domain Admin authority.
- Uninstall iSeries Access.
- Reinstall (perhaps shutting down virus programs at the time may not be a
bad option)
- While still signed on as admin, check the service level at that time.
Since you're running V5R2, and may be there for awhile, one last run may
be all you need to sync it up.
- Turn off the option to "Check Service Level" at intervals.
- Sign on as normal user and make sure that "Check Service Level" remains
off.
