AFAIK, the i (and family members) cannot function as an MQ client,
except with JMS (Java Message Services). So you would need licensed
program 5724H72 (V6R0M0 WebSphere MQ for iSeries) to allow the
i to be in an MQ environment.

I have been asked if the MQ LICPGM is required on the AS400 if it is only a client. I have not been able to find an answer to this. Does anybody know? Is there a good site to read about setting up the AS400 as a client?

Thanks
Jim
