Is there a way to, under host control, suppress column separators for attributes Hex 30 through Hex 36?

Obviously, it can be done on an InfoWindow II terminal from offline setup, and many emulators (including ours) can do it from one setup window or another (in ours, it's look-and-feel), but I'm talking about overriding that setting under host control.

(And is it just me, or does it seem like the emulators with the most obnoxious column seps are the ones that don't provide a way for even the user to disable them?)
