BRMS and ROBOT/Save are somewhat mutually exclusive as they both attempt
to register some of the same exit points. I have a theory that they
*could* be made to work together (with some effort) but I have not gone
down this route yet.

If one is using IBM's BRMS (Backup and Recovery Media Services or Backup
and Recovery according to Miss Saugen) would one need Robot Tape?

Change Management software is popular. Your email address has the word
"health" in it so change management may be darn near required in your
establishment. Softlanding, MKS and Aldon are the big players.
Softlanding is trying to price themselves out of the market and people
are leaving in droves, us included.

This is just a opinion question. But what products (extra cost) do ya'll
think are "de rigeur" for a new i shop? So far, just from overhearing,
it looks like we will be getting Robot/Scheduler and Robot/Tape. I read
here about the System i Navigator and am reading up on it. I really like
the "for Wireless" option, but that is "extra cost". Now, I am a bit
worried (probably unnecessarily) that the proposal might not include
some extra cost products in order to look more attractive.

On the compiler question: is each compiler licensed separately, or are
the all a single package? I would hope the latter.
