Yeah, I'm trying to find out if the DSPOBJD "first touch" was
finished.

We have done a full system save since the upgrade, does anybody know if that counts as a "first touch" for the purposes of v5r4 *FILE conversion?

The DSPOBJD as "first touch" for *FILE objects, I believe, updates the /object changed/ date of the *FILE object itself. That specific conversion was the /alignment/ conversion only, for which the DSPOBJD request effects alignment of all of the composite objects that make up the database *FILE. So if a DSPOBJD is done and the change date reflects that most recent request, then the conversion was apparently not done prior. Viewing the x/1901 MI object via STRSST D/A/D would be a non-touch scenario, where the change date [and alignment] can be viewed. The save *might* have effected the alignment conversion that DSPOBJD could have done instead, prior to the save; the APAR\PTF noted in another message may imply that, or just that the conversion transpires in the failure case merely as a side effect of the DB-save error recovery activity.
